NDFB Scholarship Winners Announced

Bismarck, N.D. – The NDFB Promotion and Education Committee announced fifteen individuals who have been awarded $1,000 scholarships through the NDFB Foundation. The money is raised through a live auction at the NDFB Annual Meeting, held in November. Auction items are donated by county Farm Bureaus and volunteers.

“These scholarships wouldn’t be possible without the NDFB Foundation and the generosity of the county Farm Bureaus and volunteers,†said NDFB Director of Organizational Development Joey Bailey. “Being able to grant these scholarships and contribute to the students’ educational pursuits is profoundly meaningful to us.”

°Õ³ó±ðÌýBecki Palmer Scholarship is for high school seniors and honors an NDFB employee who lost her battle with cancer in 2006. The winners are:
– Teagan Erbele of Lehr, N.D. 
– Lilly Solemsaas of Sherwood, N.D. 
– Grace Olin of New Salem, N.D. 
– Luke Martinson of Milnor, N.D. 
– Jacob Dufner of Cummings, N.D. 

 

°Õ³ó±ðÌýNDFB Agriculture Scholarship is for an undergraduate student majoring in agriculture who has completed or will be completing their freshman year of post-secondary school. The winners are:
– Emily Fannik of Max, N.D. 
– Evan Knoll of Fargo, N.D. 
– John Kaldor of Hillsboro, N.D. 

°Õ³ó±ðÌýNDFB Family Membership Scholarship is awarded to a current Farm Bureau member or family member who has or will have completed their freshman year of college. The winner is:
– Ty MacDonald of Bismarck, N.D. 
– Teagan Olson of Forbes, N.D. 
– Olivia Throener of Cogswell, N.D. 
– Madison Knoke of Edmore, N.D.

°Õ³ó±ðÌýFuture of Agriculture Scholarship is for students graduating high school this spring who are enrolled in an agriculture college. The winners are:
– Dillon Bowman of Rhame, N.D. 
– Evan Olson of Forbes, N.D. 
– Kara Siemieniewski of Geneseo, N.D.
